Race Rules and Guidelines

Race Numbers –

Each rider will be assigned 2 numbers for the entire weekend. For the time trial, you only have to wear one number on the right side. All the other stages riders will place one number on right side panel between pocket and armpit for good visibility of camera and the other on the left shoulder for good visibility from official. Check at registration in the event of a race day change in number placement.

Lost or misplaced numbers can be replaced for a $10 fee. You must have your number(s) to race. Do not fold, crumple, or modify your number in any way. Riders will be relegated if racing with a folded, crumpled, or modified number.

Expected Behavior

We are all guests to the community we are racing in. Please act as a responsible adult. Don’t do or say anything that will jeopardize the opportunity to return in future years. Leave the place cleaner than when you arrived by cleaning up after yourself. My staff and I have worked very hard to provide these racing venues and bring you a quality event. Please, be on your best behavior and respect other people’s property. Violators will be disciplined accordingly.

Public Urination & Nudity

DON’T DO IT. Enough said! Any rider seen doing this will be fined and DQ’d. No warning-consider this your warning.

Helmets are Mandatory

Part 1. At all times when participating in or preparing for an event held under a USA Cycling permit, including club rides, motorcycle drivers and all motorcycle passengers shall wear a securely fastened helmet that meets the US DOT motorcycle helmet standard.
Part 2. At all times when participating in or preparing for an event held under a USA Cycling permit, including club rides, all licensees who are mounted on a bicycle shall wear a securely fastened helmet that meets either the US DOT helmet standards or one of the following standards:

(4) Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standard CAN/CSA-D113.2-M;
(5) U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standard for bicycle helmets;

This provision does not apply to riders who are riding rollers or any other stationary device.
